The game is very much like the ride at WDW. The carnival-style activities are somewhat repetitive, but reasonable.
The menu system is horrible. There are no labels for the menu options and no clues that the B button is the way to go back. If you finally navigate your way through, the activities are entertaining.
The 3D is lack-luster and the game is finished very quickly.
Though my young children find the activities challenging and are entertained by their favorite characters, any child with video game skills will find this boring quite quickly.
It's is worth renting for the weekend or buying second-hand.

I am a huge fan of all things Disney, and usually greatly enjoy there video games. However, this game grew old on me very quickly. The game concept is that of the ride in Disney, which is shooting out targets. Compared to the ride, the scenes are the same, a Buzz Lightyear space ranger level, Bo's balloon pop, Hamm and Rex's animal farm, the Green Army men's plate breaking, and Woody's Roundup shooting gallery. There are a few seperate levels for each scene, most of which are the basic point and shoot, though there are goals each level, some of which can be tricky to get, so there is some challenge to them. There are also a few mini games each level, such as a watch the cup - find the hidden coin game with Bo and a table tilt game with the Green Army Men.
The game does have a few cons. The biggest being that there is no way to save anything during story mode, though whatever games you complete all the onjectives for and get unlocked, do remain unlocked if you shut down the Wii without saving. The game also only took about an hour for me to play through the complete story mode, which is much too short in my opinion, though you are rewarded tickets based on your score, so you'll be playing story mode several times to unlock all the free play content.
The game is fun for a few hours, and free play is fun for a group, but it can, and does, get boring very quickly.

I bought this for my 4 year old. We had just been to Disneyland and Toy Story Mania was his favorite ride. The game is not just like the ride but very similar. Once you get to free play which is easy to do it is a lot more fun then when you first start playing. I have a 13 year old a 10 year old and a 7 year old and they all love it. I love to play it with my 4 year old.

This is a very addictive game. I must have played it for 7 hours straight. There is a nice story line. You get all sorts of matches from 3 on 3 tag team and ladder matches and everything in between. I have played all the other WWE games and this one is by far the best. This is a very fun game even if your not a big WWE fan. The only draw back is if you play the "Road to Wrestlemaina" you don't get to choose a wrestler you get to play as Sheamus.

I will start my review by saying this is not a Smackdown vs Raw game with a different name. If are a fan of SDVR you might not even like this game. For others this will be a good thing that the action is different.
The menus are very similar to the last years game with alot of the same match options.
WWE Universe seems to be a little deeper this year and you can customize what titles, arena , and brand name you use for you show. For instance I put WCW instead of Smackdown.
There is a ton of title belts and arenas in the game as well as the option to make your own arena. Problem being that the arenas are glitchy, about 50% of the time half the ring canvas is blacked out.
The new game engine has it's pluses and minuses I start with the positives
The wrestlers move much smoother than in SD games
the match pacing is more realistic, you don't win a match in 2 minutes.
The moves seem to be more dramatic and just look way better in general.
The game just moves better and everything is more fluid.
I really like the new submission system alot better.
The negatives that I found in the actual wrestling in game is that
I don't really care for the control layout ( I believe this can be altered and I have not checked into any others yet so this may be moot).
There seems to be less moves overall that your wrestler has at their disposal and I seem to pull off alot of the same moves over and over again. Especially early on in the match before you opponent gets groggy and are able to execute the bigger slams.
Pin system seem hit and miss. Sometimes i hit the meter dead on and it still counts on me.
Then there are somethings that are good and bad like the AI seem to be smarter and actually attacks appropriate to the situation for the most part. They still dont do a wide variety of things and the reversals are out of control this year.
There is alot more that can be said but I just wanted to weigh in objectively for people who have not played the game because there is not many reviews up for it at this time and they one of them I saw was a 9/10 IGN and Game Informer gave it a very low score like 5.5/ 10. I myself would give it a 8.5 out of 10. It is alot of fun and the new predator system is a step in the right direction IMO but the game also has it's fair share of glitches , none game breaking but some are pretty significant. It is different enough from the last smackdown game that if you are on the fence about buying it you may want to rent it first. I think some people may not like it do to the fact it is slower paced and more difficult.
(update) I reloaded the game and haven't had any more issues with the ring shading and tearing problems.

OK so I'm just gonna write a quick review on the game so far since there aren't any yet (I will re-edit as I get more gamplay in). First off the first thing I noticed and am sure everyone else did was the controls, different but after a few matches you get the hang of things very quick. The menu is similar to SVR 2011 but an updated feeling, matches are the same but didn't see a "First Blood" match. Gameplay is smooth and fun once you get a hang of everything, though it seems like you get less grapple moves with the new control layout but still I've only had for half a day so far. Besides having one of the most complete rosters in a wrestling game the WCW invasion was a huge selling point for me since I was a major fan of WCW, but wish there were more WCW characters included (already online have seen awesome CAWs and Arenas to be downloaded). There are a ton of belts in the game too from everything that was in SVR 2011 to 3 different Tag Team belts, European Belt, Attitude Era belt, 2 WCW belts, Undisputed Belt, Hardcore Belt, Classic Intercontinental, Light-Heavyweight, Champion of Champion, Classic ECW, Cruiserweight, and a few others so you can imagine all the match possibilities there are. There has been mixed reviews on Road To Wrestlemania with being able to pick 3 characters and repeated cut scenes but so far I've enjoyed everything on this game. So as I play more I will have a more detailed review, I just wanted to put something up so people could see, enjoy.

Super Mario 3D Land is a game for the Nintendo 3DS. You can read Super Mario 3D Land reviews in here! The Super Mario 3D Land reviews are written by real users. Super Mario 3D Land is closely based on side-scrolling Mario games, but it is a 3D platformer in the vein of games like Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy.

Overview:
It seems like Princess Peach has been kidnapped... again. The overlying premise? It seems as if Bowser got a bit too Tanooki tail-happy, attaching them to everything from himself to Goombas, Boos, and Bullet Bills (really, Bowser, really?). As the usual Mario World fare, you'll fight through 8 worlds of high flying, fire flowering action, but this time, you'll get the aid of some pretty cool power-ups, ranging from the Tanooki Suit to the new Boomerang Suit! Also, if anyone remembers the good ol' Goomba shoe in Super Mario World 3, you'll get a similar power-up: the Propeller Block, which will allow you to soar even higher in to the air!
Gameplay: 9.5/10
Gameplay is fairly easy here: the levels aren't too hard, and you'll find yourself with an abundance of lives once you defeat Bowser in World 8. Each level is quite interesting, and none of them are quite a bore. Unfortunately, some levels require specific power-ups in order to unlock some cool things: the Tanooki Suit provides the ability to crank up blocks, the Fire Flower gives the ability to light some torches, and the Propeller Block can help you reach relatively unobtainable places. This gives it a pretty good challenge, as you'll need to map out and plan your abilities, but it can be frustrating at times when you reach a level and you don't have the necessary power-ups. Fortunately, obtaining power-ups are as easy as getting coins in the game-they're everywhere.
Also, as a little help to people who keep dying, you'll receive a special Invincible Tanooki Suit after dying a few times, which will grant you a sparkling white version of the Tanooki Suit that grants you infinite invincibility for the duration of the level. If that doesn't help you, after dying a few more times, you can also get the famed P Wing, which will fly you straight to the end of the level. This may be great for some, but where's the fun in that?
Finally, the Star Coins return as the level collectibles a la New Super Mario Bros. DS: there are 3 of these coins in each level, and they're used to unlock specific levels across the world map. These coins are fairly easy to get, though some are quite well hidden, providing an incentive to keep playing to 100% the game.
Replayability: 8/10
What happens after you beat World 8? Well, it seems like good ol' bro Luigi got himself in a bind, so you can now access a new Special World, which will stand as some much harder levels for Mario to plow through (all of this trouble just for Luigi? Sheesh!). Mini-games that used to be found in Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros. DS are non-existent this time around, which is a shame, but the ability to gain items via StreetPass is a good addition, and you'll even receive items from people who don't even have the game! Another incentive is simply a time attack mode in which you can attempt to beat a person's fastest level time. Through it all, once everything is completed, there may be little reason to play through it again, but some levels stand to be just as fun after multiple runs through it.
Graphics: 9.5/10
If you're looking for some of the best quality graphics on the 3DS, Super Mario 3D Land has you covered. The visuals are quite astounding and the fluidity of the movements are just as incredible. As for the 3D effects? Astounding. If you've read other reviews, you'll find that most will recommend you playing in 3D at all times: I believe that playing in 2D can be achieved with a relatively same level of ease. You can easily turn on or off the 3D effects by simply pressing up or down on the D-pad, while also slightly tilting the camera left or right by pressing the corresponding directions on said D-pad.
Control: 9/10
Control is rather simplistic and follows the same line as most adventure/platform games. You'll move using the circle pad, crouch/butt smash with L or R, run/attack with Y or X, and jump using A or B. There's also some various combinations you can do with the above control scheme, which gives you more options especially when fighting in tight spaces. My only gripe here, though, is that since running and attacking or done using the same button, you may find yourself using attacks without meaning too, which can leave yourself open to enemy attacks, especially if you're using the Boomerang Suit. Nevertheless, the control scheme is solid despite the minor gripes.
Overall: 9/10
Super Mario 3D Land is Mario's first outing on Nintendo's newest portable platform. This game has been in the making for quite some time, but is fun nonetheless. Though the main quest can be beaten in a little under 6 hours, the game provides some nostalgia as a form of fan service to long time Mario fans. From the 8-bit Mario on the bottom screen's map layout, to the 8-pixel level with all things Mario (and Zelda), and even a level that is reminiscent of a classic Legend of Zelda dungeon, this game brings together generations of Mario games in to one great adventure.

Super Mario 3D Land feels like a mixture between Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros., and Super Mario Bros. 3. As a fan of the mentioned games, I greatly enjoyed Super Mario 3D Land, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and easy game to play. I was slightly disappointed by the level of difficulty of the game (it was definitely on the easy side), but the game was intended to be this way. If you are having trouble with a stage, after losing five lives, you have the option of using a White Tanooki power-up, which makes you invincible to damage for the rest of that stage.
After beating the game, harder levels open up to give you more to do. Each stage also contains three special hidden coins, so you can also attempt to find every coin hidden in the game. I enjoyed the soundtrack to the game - many of the songs were remakes from Super Mario Bros. 3. The recurring themes from Super Mario Bros. 3 were nostalgic and enjoyable for me. Overall, this game is a must-have for any 3DS owner. If you don't have a 3DS yet but later get one, I suggest getting this as your first 3DS game.
Gameplay: 9/10
Graphics: 10/10
Sound: 9/10
Lasting Appeal: 8/10

I have this game for my 3DS, and I love it as I have always been a fan of Mario. This one is a bit challenging, but fun. The 3D in the game is amazing, and they did a fantastic job with the look of the game. Never seen it like this before. (Never played Mario Galaxy or something like that.)
Anyway, the gameplay is pretty good, although tricky at times. I am in World 5 right now, and I can't get into the castle at the end because I don't have enough Star Coins. Guess I'll have to backtrack unless someone knows a shortcut.
I do enjoy this game though. I've always loved Mario, and this is a good addition to the game collection, and a great reason to get a 3DS if you're considering it, especially if you love Mario. I'd recommend this to Mario fans, and good luck with the game! :)

Skyrim Enchanting Perks and Guide to Enchant Items

Skyrim Enchanting is the magical augmentation of existing devices and weapons to imbue them with magical effects. The more powerful the enchanter, the stronger the magic he can bind to his weapons and armor. Skyrim Enchanting falls under The Mage play-style.
If you want to enchant items, first an item with a pre-existing enchantment must be disenchanted, using an Arcane Enchanter. The item is permanently destroyed after doing so. Henceforth, the character can imbue items with that quality using filled Soul Gems. Soul Gems also restore the depleted enchantments of weapons, with the perk Soul Squeezer giving additional effect to this feature. The quality of soul gem used for weapons determines the amount of charge the weapon has to begin with, while on armor and jewelry it determines the magnitude of the enchantment.

Question
Skyrim Enchanting Questions?
In Skyrim, I know there are many factors to how strong an enchant is, but does the item that you are enchanting affect the strength of the enchant? like does a silver garnet ring enchant stronger than a plain silver ring? also what exactly is a soul gem? do you need to fill the soul gems that you pick up if you pick up a petty soul gem for example? and when you soul trap something do you need to have a soul gem in your bag already or does it just make one? thanks
by Cole
Answer
No, the item you enchant has no effect on the power of the enchantment. That is effected only by which soul gem you use and your enchanting level.
A soul gem comes in 5 different sizes. They will state which size they are, followed by which size soul they contain. E.g. If you have a "common" soul gem, but have a "lesser" soul in it, it will be named as "Common Soul Gem (Lesser)" - Soul gems can only hold souls of a smaller to equal size. So a Lesser gem cannot hold a greater soul.
If the name of a soul gem has nothing in brackets, that means it is empty and requires a soul. To do this you need to hit an enemy with the soul trap spell/enchantment and kill it whilst the effect is still active. - You will not trap a soul without an empty soul gem to hold it.
Hope that all makes sense

Question
What point is there to Skyrim Enchanting?
So I started leveling up my enchantment skill, but then I discovered I couldn't disenchant my ArchMages Robes and Morokei mask. And those two things (archmages robes give -15% overall spell cost, +50 magicka, +150% magicka regen --- Morokai gives +100 magicka) are quite possibly the best gear for a mage, and simply require beating the mages guild to acquire them.
So if I can't disenchant them to put their stats on, say, some high quality armor, and I will probably never acquire an enchantment that is better than those things, then why in the hell would any mage even bother to raise enchanting? if not as a source of income?
by Richard
Answer
Well here is an example of why to bother raising enchanting:
Step 1: Enchanting Skill 100. (Plenty of guides on this and smithing to make armor)
Step 2: Pick an armor set. (Glass, whatever)
Step 3: Enchant 25% cost reduction in two spell lines (due to double enchant perk) on 4 pieces (Ring, Necklace, Chest, Helm)
Step 4: Throw away Archmage robes and Morokai mask. Enjoy zero spell cost or spread the reduction out between more schools if you like.

I'm normally a big booster for Telltale Games but it seems to me that they've kind of dropped the ball on this one. Having played through the first episode so far I can say that it doesn't really feel much like an adventure game, or really much of a game at all.
Most of the gameplay is based around sequential button pressing. While being chased by a tyrannosaur, for example, you can only "beat" the scene by hitting up, down, left right or what have you in the order displayed on the screen and in time. I haven't seen anything that I would really call a puzzle so far, and by and large the game feels like a rail shooter. The mechanics break from what we've come to expect from the adventure genre - characters wandering around different scenes, talking to people, finding items to solve puzzles and the like - by having no inventory and no real ability to control where you are in the game. You're pretty much pressing buttons in sequence to move from one scene to the next which is not at all what I expected from a Telltale Games title. In fact, the most common game mechanic is simply mashing the instructed button repeatedly until a bar gets filled up.
If there is any game I could compare this to it's the old laserdisc arcade games like Space Ace or Dragon's Lair. Move joystick, hit button, get next scene. If you miss, you go to a death scene and have to start over. That's pretty much what the game play is like, except there are a few more buttons and more downtime.
You never get a sense of your environment. If you are presented with a scene, it will have highlighted areas that you are supposed to click. Everything is pointed out to you - areas you can investigate have a question mark, things you can move have a little controller icon over them. Dialogue options are usually pretty minimal and have had little if any impact on the game itself. As an example, there are multiple scenes where you get to create your own banter as it were. It's fun to do I guess, but it really doesn't do anything for the game. They would have been better off just making it into a straight cut scene.
Presentation wise I don't have any real complaints. The graphics aren't cutting edge for certain, but they're not terribly dated either. The soundtrack sounds like it was largely lifted from the movie which is exactly what I would expect, indeed hope for. The voice acting is decent, as are the character designs. The game was polished and complete, I didn't notice any major bugs or crashes in the the four or five hours I've spent playing it.
The story starts partway through the movie and follows a handful of stereotypes - the kind gentle father with the troubled teenager, the wisecracking mercenary, the tough woman with a suppressed maternal instinct. It's not going to win any awards, but if you like Jurassic Park (like I do) then the story is at least as enjoyable as either JPIII or the Lost World and certainly not any worse.
There's nothing wrong with how Jurassic Park: The Game is presented, the flaws lie within the uninspired, rail shooter game play. To me Telltale has a reputation for making interesting, challenging adventure games in the vein of Sam & Max Hit the Road, The Dig and so forth. They had puzzles, great freedom of action and rewarded creativity. With Jurassic Park I found the minimal gameplay elements intrusive, I would rather have just watched the whole game as cutscenes instead of spending time pressing the button I'm told to press. The gameplay actively interferes with the story!

This game is by no stretch of the word great. It's clear it was made on a budget as the graphics and animations will point out. However, it's heart is in the right place. If you ever loved Jurassic Park as a kid and want to experience a taste of that magic this a good buy. I went into this game knowing it was budget and an adventure game to boot and while I find the extensive use of quick time events to be a bit excessive the action scenes and story make up for it. Not to mention you get to explore new parts of the park never before seen in the movies. This game is more like an interactive movie with moments of the point and click adventure games of old. Jurassic Park is not a game for everyone and those unfamiliar with the a fore mentioned adventure games of the 1990's will probably not get into it finding it to archaic in game play terms to be satisfied. People familiar with more modern approaches to this genre such as heavy rain will be in their element as it shares the same genre with out the quality of time and a budget to make it truly great. Here's a quick list for easy dissection of this review.
Pro's:
- Great story and voice acting
- A retro style game for re-living those childhood memories
- Explore new parts of the park like the marine life facility
- Dinosaur animations and sound effects are great
- The investigative sections where you explore the environment are a lot of fun
Con's:
- Dialogue can be stereotypical at times
- Animation (Specifically the human characters) and Graphics in general are below today's standards by far
- A lot of quick time events
Overall I give it prop's for simply being done well with what budget they had and it's clear by their efforts that they loved the source material and did their best to make an adventure worthy of the fan's love. Take it for what it is and what could of never been instead of what it isn't.
I hope the Jurassic Park review above can be useful for you. You're also can share the Jurassic Park review above to your friends if you think it also can be useful for them.

Halo 4 Trailer (E3 2011) and Information
Posted by
black wallpaper
Halo 4 is an upcoming video game and the eights installment in the best-selling Halo franchise. Halo 4 is intended to be the first of a new trilogy of Halo series games, named the "Reclaimer Trilogy". After rumored if Halo 4 for Xbox 720, Microsoft confirms Halo 4 is for Xbox 360. Whereas the previous Halo games were developed by Bungie, Halo 4 will be developed by 343 Industries, Microsoft's new internal development company. The game continues some time after the ending of Halo 3, and marks the return of the Master Chief as the main protagonist. Cortana will also appear in the game. The game will be released Q4, 2012.
Halo 4
Frank O'Connor confirmed that the planet seen in the trailer is Sigma 7 from Halo 3 (during the Legendary epilogue) and said that "It is safe to say it's not human". The game is currently expected to be released in "Holiday 2012", following the release of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary on November 15th, 2011.
Little is known about the game at this point. The teaser-trailer debuted at E3 2011 titled, Awakening, is thus far, the major source of information.
Halo 4 Trailer
In the teaser, Master Chief, asleep in his cryo-tube, awakens as Cortana shouts for him to wake up. Although slow to wake from his stasis (as is normal for cryo-sleep), the Chief energetically snaps into action. He gets out of the tube and approaches Cortana, reassuring her that he is awake and present. An explosion reverberates through the hull, cutting their brief reunion short and alerting John to the danger of the situation. With little time to lose, he transfers Cortana to her data chip and exits the room, drifting weightlessly through the disintegrating interior of the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn with the aid of a thruster pack. As he maneuvers through the debris-filled corridor, he grabs what seems to be a magnum-like pistol that fires off single-use explosive projectiles. He uses the weapon to blast open an opening in the aft section of the ship. Exiting through the torn section, the Chief prepares to face whatever warranted his awakening, as the Dawn approaches a mysterious planet/unknown construct with a massive portal/tunnel opening.
The Master Chief's armor has taken on several asthetic changes. The details have been increased and the look and feel has changed, although still remaining similar to the Halo 3 Mark VI armor. This is probably because 343 Industries didn't want to stray too far from the original version of Halo 2 and Halo 3. Though the same, the armor looks a little different (in the teaser-trailer). The shoulder-pieces appear to be different from the original Mark VI version in Halo 2 and Halo 3. A "pelvis-guard" piece is also missing. 343 industries said there's an actual story reason for the armor change.
There are rumors there might be a new voice actor for Cortana, because during the trailer, Cortana's voice sounds distinctly different from Jen Taylor's, the voice actor in the trilogy. However, they may have just used a temporary replacement for the teaser only (and Jen Taylor may be voice-acting for Cortana in the actual game), or was because when her voice was heard the video was panning "inside" the Chief's body, and therefore muffled her voice.
An "ancient evil" was stated to appear on the leaked Halo E3 page. It has the possibility of being either the Precursors, the Forerunners, the Flood, or something entirely new and unexpected. It should also be noted that the construct shown in the trailer appears to not be of human or Covenant origin. Since Halo Fest 2011, new developments have taken place that show what seems to be the identity of the enemy. It has been confirmed that inside the planet are machines of unknown origin. They seem to be Forerunner in nature, but it is unconfirmed.
A video was released at Halo Fest showcasing concept art of a humanoid creature. What this creature may be has yet to be revealed.

I am so impressed with the Skylanders starter pack. To me, this is the neatest video game technology to date. The characters are placed upon a little platform that sits on the floor or TV stand and lights up. The game recognizes each of these little characters and then inserts the characters into the game. Each physical piece stores the character's accomplishments, rewards, and upgrades--and they all transfer to other systems, so that you may pick up your game wherever you left off (i.e., at a friends' house, between Xbox and Wii, our American skylanders are even compatible with overseas consoles, dispite the different format).
The game play is simple enough for my 4 year old and the puzzles are challenging enough for me! My four children (age 4, 5, 9, and 10) LOVE playing this together and they all collect the Skylanders pieces. The characters are simply adorable! and their upgrades make them even cuter.
I can't say enough about this set-up! We invite friends over to play and explain how neat and unique the whole gaming system is, so I'm more than happy to come on to Amazon and RAVE. If this is where video games are going, I CAN'T WAIT to see what they come up with next.

I bought Skylanders and sure, the initial $70 was a bit much but it was for my kid, although as my wife says 'yeah, right'. Anyway! He has so much fun with this game! He takes Spyro around everywhere with him and has Trigger Happy proudly positioned on top of my Monitor (which looks weird) and Gill Grunt is guarding the bathroom. Kids eh? But, whenever he fires the game up, there's a blur and the toys are gone.
When he plays, he collects everything and just has a lot of fun playing it. He loves when Spyro does the charge attack but when he saw Trigger Happy's mini-gun attack, I'm sure his eyes almost burst out of his head.
Anyway, if you have kids (or you want to buy it 'for your kid') then this game is a must! Its fun. In fact, i'm going to say it's GREAT fun and, after all, isn't that the important thing?
Oh, you don't need to buy any other toy to play the game but I just ordered Prism Break and Chop-Chop because, well, they look so cool! Oh, yeah, and my kid likes them too. Sigh, I wonder where Chop-Chop will end up 'guarding'.

Scope of Player (me)
If you're curious to who I am as a game player so as to understand this review: 28, married, no children and the last games I just finished or am playing are Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, Cars 2, Burnout Crash, Rock of Ages and I'm highly anticipating Professor Layton 4, LotR: War of the North, Saints Row 3 and Uncharted 3.
If you want the quick answer/review, here it is: if you love figurines (regardless of points of articulation), fun and quirky character design, new technology, a decent 3rd-person brawler and the grind, then you should buy this game this very moment.
The Gimmick
There's always got to be a gimmick when you try to charge more than the "standard price of admission" for any game. In this case, the $69.99 you spend nets you the PORTAL OF POWER and three Skylander figurines. What this is used for is essentially your real-time character change. When you place a Skylander on the Portal of Power, the game recognizes this and swaps your character to the one you places on the portal. The really neat part is that it saves that individual character's stats (current level, stats, upgrades and hat). That means it's basically it's own proprietary memory card. I think Toys for Bob and Activision did a good job executing this new integration of figurines with video games.
I also like the way it's integrated as it's compatible across the board. This means if you bring your figures to a friend's house who owns a different system than you, you can still join the fight with your characters. There's even an online portal that allows you to access the Skylanders Universe with your figures, storing a separate chunk of data (web vs. console).
To be completely honest, I'd rather have DLC presented this way than your standard $4.99 download from XBL or PSN. At least you have something physical to show for it, versus virtual goods in general, which is something so many folks (see: your parents) have a hard time understanding.
The Game
The actual game is your standard 3rd person action brawler. You basically have three different characters to choose from (the initial three that come in the starter) and you just spend the rest of your time running through a linear map, fighting bad guys, leveling up and buying upgrades while seeking out hidden treasures that contain hats (which also give you buffs). This means you don't have to buy any more figures to beat the game (or get the achievements), but it does help and add more flavor to the mix.
It's definitely not a bad game as it really is presented quite well. I think my first inclination would be to compare it to Gauntlet. You can even break open barrels to obtain food items because your figure is likely hungry.
The visuals aren't anything to write home about as they definitely aren't pushing the system's capabilities nor is the writing in the story. It's definitely geared toward the younger crowd, but I think that's completely okay. It's a great way to really integrate the game playing experience with the family.
Speaking of family, Joe from Family Guy (the neighbor in the wheelchair) voices one of the characters in the game. I'm just waiting for him to ask Bonnie for something.
Should You Buy It?
Yes. Like I mentioned earlier, if you really love figures, new technology and well executed 3rd person action brawler games with a decent grind, this is for you.

I'm going to share to you the top 5 best Skyrim mods! By using mods, it can enhance your gaming experience. If you're a modder, you can share your mod information by put your comment below. Ok, here are the list of top 5 best Skyrim mods and the descriptions:
1. No More Blocky Faces
by Xenius
![No More Blocky Faces No More Blocky Faces](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxqRRI78uCVwWUNIyZvVYKGuQY-l9RPL4ZNGomJXSTkziVfLsp0W0NqTCTuKokC4ZhQ_iccRBrVgFNTB9BG-CzBTxvmLCGv0m90RCA4oKvuhdvy92EeZBmw56Lf9l5NIqru631FOOKcIAw/s320/no_more_blocky_faces.jpg)
You probably all noticed the blocky noses and chins of the human and elven characters in Skyrim. This was caused by compressed textures with the _msn affix. I have smoothed the noses and chins and saved them as uncompressed textures.
Updated version also removes blocky eyelids, ears and lips. Brow ridges and wrinkels have not been removed, only the blocky ones have been smoothed, because I did not want to alter the intended design. This mod affects the following races, male and female including old characters:
2. Detailed Faces
by Xenius

This little mod increases the face detail of the human and elven races, male and female. I made this for personal use, thought some of you might like it as well so decided to upload it here.
On the comparison pictures you see the old skin on the left, the new skin on the right. On some of them it's a bit hard to notice due to the low light.
This mod affects the following races, male and female including old characters:
Updated to v2.0
Detail of the skin textures has been increased by using a seamless human skin texture resource. I filled an 4096x4096 image with this resource, then decreased the size to 2048x2048 and applied it to the original face textures.
More detail has been added to the lips, specular maps have been made less glossy but more detailed.
3. Enhanced Night Skyrim
by CptJoker
![Enhanced Night Skyrim Enhanced Night Skyrim](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif7p0KwvqmKAzphn3_FogC6KD_Js7zI1ZTUPJdSrLX6X2MBzq53er3fr-aBZ6d_mkQfai4B6Yx5ki9frG7rxWmrlqCNSRug1EGKtYpjdhQoLxXphA19yGfAI50Cs3hKLO6uu1rojerEqEa/s320/enhanced_night_skyrim.jpg)
This is a new edition of my Enhanced Night Sky mod, modified for the icy lands of Skyrim. It's a high resolution texture replacement for the night sky taken from real starfield photography. This will not affect the appearance of constellations (yes, the game has constellations finally!) which are contained in another file - this will simply enhance the backdrop for a much denser starfield.
Enjoy!
4. Enhanced Blood Textures

Improved blood texture detail and increased resolution from 512 to 2048. New screen blood textures to have more of a splatter appearance rather than a dot. Plugin will adjust screen blood's size, opacity, duration, and amount. Will also Increase blood duration on weapons
